My Awesome Holiday

Hi guys !!
It has been a long time since I did not post anything
because of the school holiday had begun

So, this is the first time I post in my new school year.
I would like to begin with my story during the school holiday.

On the last day of school as secondary one student, my classmates and I went to PVJ.
There, we watched Minions and walked around together.
It was a good start of my holiday.

For the next few days I did not go anywhere, except visited my cousins to play together. The good is my house is close to my cousin's house, so I can go there every time I want. Although, I only visited my cousin, I felt happy to play and chat together rather than playing computer all day long.

Sadly, on the next days I must go to my school to start a new school year. In one week of school, I was happy to meet my classmates, unfortunately my classmates are still the same. However, it is okay because we will be more cohesive. On the second day until the next Eid holiday, we studied as usual and to be honest, it was very boring and it was also fun to meet new teachers.

When the second holiday began, I already planned to go with my cousin to Jakarta. A few days before we went to Jakarta, I as usual only spend time at home to watch television and play computer. I also walking and riding a bicycle around my complex.

On 19th July, my sister and I joined our cousin to go to Jakarta. We left Bandung after going to church on Sunday. When we arrived in Jakarta, we went straight to the hotel to put our goods in our rooms. We were staying in DoubleTree Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights.

On the first day in Jakarta, I immediately swam in a large and fresh swimming pool. After I swam until the sunset, we went to Grand Indonesia to have dinner. We had dinner at Marugame Udon and it was so delicious. Before went home, we walked around and visited some stores.

WooYoo Ice Cream Store
On the second day, we had planned to went to Waterboom Jakarta. When we arrived, the parking lot was very full and we decided not to went there, because we would just wasted time. So, we went to WooYoo and ate ice cream there. After that, we went to Baywalk and walked around there. We ate in Ta Wan at night because my uncle wanted to eat chinese food. When we went to the hotel, we relaxed there for about 1 hour and we decided to went out searched for food. But, me and my cousin stayed in the hotel because we were tired and wanted to relax and watched television.

On my last day in Jakarta, we visited some malls such as Central Park, Grand Indonesia, Taman Anggrek to buy stuff and things. After we ate for dinner, we went back to Bandung and we were grateful because there were no traffic jams. It takes 2 hours for us to arrive in Bandung.

The rest of my holiday, I just did my homework at home and playing computer again.
I was happy with this holiday, but a little bit annoyed by my school homework.

And that's the end of my story when school holiday began.

"A holiday is like love ,anticipated with pleasure, experienced with discomfort, and always be remembered "

Asian African Conference

Hi guys ! So, yesterday was the 60th celebration of Asian African Conference.
It was held in Bandung on  24 April 2015.

That day was very quiet because many roads in Bandung were closed.
Many police cars sound alarm and President from various countries led by police.
My school was holiday that day, but we did't go to anywhere because many place were closed.

There are over 72 country participate Asian African Conference. All of them were guarded because the are some President. Before, Bandung was very dirty full of rubbish and many pavement are damaged. A month before this celebration, Bandung had changed a lot. The pavement are now good and many people come to take photos. On Wednesday, 2 days before KAA, My friends and I went there to took photos, but it was hard for me because a lot of people are coming. I hope Bandung will always be well.

HISTORY

The first Asian-African Conference in 1955 marked an important milestone in the history of cooperation amongst Asian and African countries. Delegates from 29 participating countries gathered in Bandung, Indonesia to discuss peace, security, and economic development in the midst of emerging problems in many parts of the world.
These problems were mostly caused by conflict between Eastern and Western blocs, which had differing interests and contradicting ideologies. Each tried to garner support from Asian and African nations in what came to be known as “the Cold War.” The global situation, especially in Asia and Africa, was also affected by colonialism in its various forms and the ensuing conflicts amongst a number of independent Asian and African countries resulting from the divide and conquer strategies employed by the colonial powers. At the time, the United Nations was unable to tackle these problems.
This escalating conflict prompted the governments of Burma (Myanmar), India, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Ceylon (Sri Lanka) to organize the Asian African Conference (AAC). They invited governments from Asia, Africa and the Middle East to craft a new ethos of international relations called "The Spirit of Bandung". The Leaders preset at the AAC also declared "The Ten Principles of Bandung,” which reflected the commitment of nations to practice tolerance and to live in peace with one another as good neighbors.
